Distance Tool
Quick point-to-point measurements for checking distances on the fly.
What is the Distance Tool?
The distance tool provides quick, temporary measurements between two points. Unlike the Line tool, distance measurements don't automatically save to your project - they're perfect for:
- Checking a dimension before drawing
- Verifying existing measurements
- Quick estimates without cluttering your project
- Planning where to place measurements
How to Use

Click the ruler icon in the toolbar, or press R.

As you move your cursor, the distance from your start point updates in real-time.
4
