Manage your subscription, seats, and payment information.
Your First Project Is Free
The first project your company creates is free. You do not need a plan or a card for it. Your free project includes:
- Full measurement totals
- Editing and PDF export
- One AI pavement measurement and one stall count
To create a second project, you need a plan. Without a plan, New Project shows this message: "Your first project is free. Upgrade to create another project." Click View plans to open Settings > Billing.
In Settings > Billing, click Start your 7-day free trial. A card is required at checkout. Nothing is charged until the trial ends.
Note: You get one free project. If you delete it, you do not get a new free project, and you need a plan to create another project.

- Select the number of seats you need
- Click "Start Subscription"
- Complete checkout via Stripe
- Immediate access to all features
Secure Checkout: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your credit card information.
Managing Your Subscription
In Settings > Billing, you can:
- View your current plan and monthly cost
- See seat usage (active seats vs total seats)
- Check billing date for your next payment
- Access Stripe Portal to manage payment methods
Adding or Removing Seats
To change your seat count:
- Go to Settings > Billing or Settings > Team
- Use the + and - buttons next to your seat count
- Read the exact prorated amount, then click the confirm button
- The new seats are available immediately
Inviting someone when every seat is taken offers to add the seat and send the invite in one step.
Pro-rating: When adding seats, a pro-rated amount for the remainder of your current billing period is added to your next invoice. Nothing is charged at the moment you add the seat. You see the exact amount, calculated by Stripe, before you confirm. During a free trial, seat changes cost nothing until the trial ends.

Canceling Your Subscription
You can cancel anytime from Settings > Billing:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click "Cancel subscription" under your plan details. A "Before you go" window opens
- Click "Cancel anyway"
- Pick the reason that fits best. The final "Cancel anyway" button stays grey until you pick one
- Click "Cancel anyway" to confirm
Between jobs? With an active subscription, the same window offers "Pause for the off-season" instead: pause for 1, 2 or 3 months, or until you resume, and click "Pause my account". Pausing is offered only while your subscription is active, not during the free trial. "Manage Subscription" opens the Stripe billing portal for your card and invoices.
Note: After cancellation, you'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. Your projects and data remain saved. After the period ends, every project except your free project shows a lock instead of its totals, and PDF export is off on those projects.
